The Club will reimburse the following types of expenses for approved outings:
- Campground fees for Club outings, including rock climbing, snow and ice climbing, peak climbing trips, the annual CMC winter and summer outings, and other special events. This category includes outings to National Parks, National Forests, State Parks, and other public and private sites charging campground fees.
- Back country permit fees for group Leaders/Organizers, trip participants, and unutilized permit slots.
- Campground or permit fees if a trip is canceled, as defined in the Trip Cancellation Policy.
Any claims for reimbursement under this policy must be filed within 90 days of the trip. A trip report suitable for printing in the CMC Newsletter is required for reimbursement. Publication of the outing prior to the date of the outing in the Outings Schedule of the Newsletter will constitute Board approval for the outing.
